Miami Football BlogMonday, November 16, 2009Miami Dolphins Cut Rookie LBRookie LB and 7th round draft pick J.D. Folsom was released by the Miami Dolphins this week after just one week on the active roster. Folsom had spent the better part of the season on the practice squad and was elevated to help fill the gap left by Channing Crowder’s injuries the past several weeks. If Folsom clears waivers it is likely he will end up back on the practice squad for the remainder of the season. While there has been no move made to fill Folsom’s roster spot, tight end Anthony Fasano had difficulties in practice this week due to an injured hip, so there has been speculation that John Nalbone, another rookie late round draft choice from the practice squad might be promoted to the roster. We’ll keep an eye on this at the Miami Dolphins Tickets Blog and let you know what develops. Previous Posts
