Who will start this weekend? Who will see significant minutes? How are the injured players in training camp coming along, and will they play any this weekend? As we mentioned earlier, the Dolphins released their depth chart today, and with it came a few surprises, especially on the offensive side of the ball. The offensive line has been a big question mark all of training camp, and your starters for Saturday look to be Jake Long at left tackle, Richie Incognito at left guard, rookie John Jerry at right guard and Vernon Carey at right tackle. The center position, which has also been a point of contention, will be manned by Joe Berger, as Jake Grove will be sitting out with a bruised knee (although third-stringer Andrew Hartline has also been turning some heads and is still in contention). The wide receiver position is no surprise with Brandon Marshall and Brian Hartline (who has had a successful training camp) as your starters, while Anthony Fasano (tight end), Ronnie Brown (running back) and Lousaka Polite (fullback) will round out the first offensive unit.

The QB position’s depth chart is listed as Chad Henne, Tyler Thigpen, Pat White and then Chad Pennington. Don’t read too much into that position, however, as Head Coach Tony Sparano has said that he simply does not need to see Pennington as much as he does Thigpen and White. So, look for Thigpen and White to line up for quite a few more snaps than the veteran, because, simply put – they have more to prove than he does.

It is important to note that this depth chart is the first one issued by the team this year, and it is subject to change throughout the week. Want to know how the defense and special teams are shaping up? Check out the MiamiDolphinsTickets.com blog tomorrow for more!
