One Week Until Training Camp

With the Miami Dolphins less than a week away from the opening of training camp, the Fins are hard at work preparing for the 2010 NFL season, but are you – the fan – ready for all the action that is to come over the next six months? Even though the Fins are knee-deep in training camp preparations, there are things that you need to know as well if you plan on keeping tabs on your favorite team during this time. First of all, practices are held at the team’s training facility in Davie, Fla. on the campus of Southeastern University. And, more importantly, all sessions are free to the public, so you can bring your entire family along for a fun-filled day while getting your first look at the Dolphins in person! If you do plan on checking out one of the training camp sessions, however, plan to come early, as seating is available for only the first 2,000 fans. Parking is also available in the Nova Southeastern University Medical School Garage (HPD Garage).

On the team’s second full day of practice, which also marks their first two-a-day, the Dolphins are also planning a “Family Day at Dolphins Camp” for fans to celebrate the return of football to South Florida. Scheduled activities include face painting, inflatable games for the kids to enjoy, meet-and-greets with TD, the Fins Force and the Dolphins cheerleaders, and the Miami Dolphins Official Pro Shop will be open for fans as well with exclusive team merchandise.
